The Clermont County Park District has reached an agreement with Union Township for funding of a portion of the new park on Tealtown Road. Union Township is providing $250,000 for the development of the park, and and additional $200,000 for the park entrance as well as improvements to the intersection at Tealtown Road and Schoolhouse Road.
In addition, the Park District is providing $145,000 from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Metro Parks Road Fund. This money will help pay for the paving of the parking lot and entrance road. The Park District is still seeking additional funds to pay for the development of the park.
