Tealtown Road Property
Tealtown Road
Milford, OH 45150
53 Acres
In 2003, the Clermont County Park District received a donation of 53 acres of land on Tealtown Road in Union Township. The land was donated to be used as a park and nature preserve. The donor of the land requested that only six of the 53 acres be developed into a park setting with picnic shelters and playgrounds. The remaining land was to be left in its natural state.
The Park District has been working with Burgess and Niple to complete a master plan for the new park and nature preserve. We are currently searching for available funds to pay for the development of our newest park.
Update June 20, 2008
The Park District has reached an agreement with Union Township to provide partial funding for the development of the park. Union Township has agreed to provide $250,000 to begin development of the park and an additional $200,000 for the park entrance and improvements to the intersection of Tealtown Road and Schoolhouse Road. The Park District will be providing an additional $145,000 from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources MetroParks Road Fund to assist with the paving of the entrance road and parking lots. The Park District is still seeking additional funds for the development of the park.
